Here are some of the top Milford Sound day walks:

Milford Foreshore Walk
This is a short, easy walk that offers stunning views of the fjord. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers long and takes around 30 minutes to complete. It starts at the Milford Sound Visitor Centre and follows the shoreline of the fjord.

The Milford Track
This is one of the most famous walks in New Zealand and offers visitors a chance to experience the stunning natural beauty of the area over four days. The track is 53.5 kilometers long and takes hikers through the heart of Fiordland National Park, including rainforest, alpine passes, and glacial valleys.

The Routeburn Track
This is another famous multi-day walk in the area, taking hikers through some of the most beautiful alpine scenery in the world. The track is 32 kilometers long and can be completed in two to four days.

Gertrude Saddle
This is a challenging day walk that takes hikers to the top of a mountain saddle with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The walk is approximately 8 kilometers long and takes around six hours to complete.

Lake Marian Track
This is a shorter day walk that takes hikers through a beautiful valley to a small alpine lake. The walk is approximately 3 kilometers long and takes around two hours to complete.
